The Drama Of 7th Heaven, I Mean Comedy. LOL

I know that 7th Heaven is supposed to be a drama but I can't help but put it in the comedy category since lately the storylines have been pretty much comedic. Some of the things that I see on the show are just pretty funny. I mean I do like the show but I can't help but laugh at it even with some storylines that seem to be kind of serious. And of course the repetitive stories, especially the pregnancy and marriage storylines. Gosh are those annoying now. They just wanna bash it into the audience's head that if you have premarital sex you will get pregnant. It's a good message, but if you keep repeating it gets pretty ridiculous.

This season is no better. Yes it is the tenth season and you'd think they could come up with something else but now we have Simon engaged to a girl named Rose who is rude, annoying, and manipulitive. Not only that but they got engaged after knowing eachother for a very short time. What bugs me though is that he knows she's manipulitive and pushy, but he actually likes it. How ridiculous is that? Simon needs to be hit with a 2x4 and have some sense knocked into him and dump her.

Now Martin's storyline is another repetitive subject. Pregnancy. Aren't they sick of this? They've done the storyline for 4 years now. Martin had a fling with a girl named Sandy, played by Haylie Duff (Hilary Duff's older sis), who was introduced by Simon. Sandy returns to Glen Oak to inform him that she's pregnant and he's the father. What's really bothersome about this is that Martin has said that he wanted to wait until marriage to have sex, but then all of a sudden he goes to visit Simon and he has sex with a girl on their first date. Damn, Simon must be a bad influence. Beware people if you visit Simon you will have sex. Ha Ha Ha. What's worse is that after she tells him he just ignores her and tries to date this other girl, Meredith. Now I thought Martin was supposed to be this nice, respectable, morally right person. But they're making him into a jerk.

I'm not even gonna start with the Mary storyline because I'd be here forever. Maybe in another post. Same goes for the rest of the family. There are just too many Camdens to talk about for this entry alone.
Well, those are my thoughts on the two storylines on 7th Heaven this season for now. Until next time.
