Why The Hate Against The Veronicas?

Okay, so anyone who knows me, knows that I'm a huge fan of The Veronicas. They are at the very top of my favorite artists. I love their music. They write songs I can really relate to. Not only do I love their music, but I also love their personalities. Lisa and Jess are just so real and they don't take anyone's bullshit. That's one of the things I admire most about them. I also love that they go out of their way to connect with their fans any way they can. It just shows how much they appreciate us all. So I don't understand why there is this sudden rash of haters.

I get that not everyone is going to be a fan of theirs. That's completely understandable as everyone has their own opinion and tastes in music. You don't have to like them, but is it necessary to take the time to insult them harshly and harass other fans? It amazes me that there are people out there who take the time to talk about how much they dislike these girls. Even going as far as creating pages just to hate n them. The funny thing is they talk about we the fans being pathetic for following and admiring these girls but yet who is wasting time talking about singers they dislike?! It makes no fucking sense to me. If I don't like a celebrity I don't waste a minute even thinking of them let alone opening an account dedicated to hating them and their fans. In my opinion that is just completely pathetic.

I was lucky enough to see Lisa and Jess live on stage 3 times last July. They were amazing! They put on an amazing show, they were funny, they were entertaining, and they just sang their hearts out. You could just see they were happy to be there doing what they love and sharing it with the fans. What other artists will willingly jump in the crowd to give their fans hugs and sign autographs the way they did? I wasn't lucky enough to meet Jess, but I did meet Lisa and she was a total sweetheart. She was just so nice. She talked to me and gave me a hug and was so sweet about it. She took her time with you and didn't rush you to move on.

So I say Fuck the Haters!! You don't have to be fans or like like them, but at least be respectful of the people who do. No one is forcing you to be their fans and listen to their music. Find something else that is actually worth your time.

Music....My Escape

Everyone in the world has something that they do that just helps them get away from the harsh realities of the world. Some people read, write, paint, play sports, and so on. Me while I sometimes do write and read to escape, my absolute favorite thing is to do is listen to my iPod. I enjoy listening to a good song, closing my eyes and just get lost in the music. There is no better escape for me. It's my sanctuary. I listen to different genres depending on my mood. And it is just so relaxing to just let go all of my frustrations.
