One Tree Hill Episode 3.08 Review!

3.08 The Worst Day Since Yesterday

Whoo hoo! The first basketball game of the season is here and the town of Tree Hill is excited. But not everything turns out the way you want it to be. So far this is one of my fave episodes this season. Now let me say why.

Nathan/Haley: Every episode I see this season honestly gives me more hope that good things are to come for Naley. These are actually acting friendly and flirty like the beginning of their relationship. Kinda makes us forget all the drama that occurred between them. Totally loved the decorated locker that Haley prepared for Nathan. Definitely a nice touch with adding the purple flowers. And can I just say that these are doing an awful lot of flirting. It's really cute actually. It's like they are starting fresh. My favorite definitely has to be after the game when Haley waited for Nathan. It was really sweet. She actually seemed kind of nervous about it. But the best part was after she walked away telling him to call her later if he wanted to talk and he called like 5 seconds after she left and gestured for her to come with him. It was great to see how much they have progressed in the rebuilding of their relationship. Now I know better than to keep my hopes up because I'm sure the writers are going to add in some some more obstacled that will probably take them a step back, but for now I'm happy with things and can only kinda hope that their reconciliation will come soon.

Brooke/Lucas: Now if Haley and Nathan were the happiest part of this episode then Brooke and Lucas were by far the saddest. Poor Brooke is upset because she knows she made a mistake and totally regrets it and Lucas is hurting because he was so sure that she was the one for him and didn't expect to see what he did. All because of the ASS that is Chris Keller. Through the whole episode you could see how much Brooke regrets her actions. It also made her realize that the whole approach in the non-exclusivr relationship was stupid and that she shouldn't have been playing games with him. Lucas on the other hand took it as a sign that maybe they really weren't for each other. It really affected him. All he kept thinking about was Brooke and Chris together. Definitely distarcted him from the game. Even when Brooke tried to talk he didn't even give her a chance and walked out with Rachel intentionally wanting to hurt her. It's a good thing that Rachel set him staright and told him that she wasn't gonna let him use her. Another reason why I don't mind her she isn't dumb. I can only hope that things get better for Brooke and Lucas.

Nathan/Lucas: It sure doesn't seem these two will be back to being best buddies again soon, but we did get a glimpse of Nathan still kinda caring for his brother, even if it didn't come off that way. I did like how Nathan  the confrontation with Chris did kinda seem like he was coming to the defense of his big brother but it did still the underlying issue about him and Haley too. And the scene in the locker room. it did seem like Nathan wanted to comfort his brother and at first I did think that was what he was going to do but it didn't go that way. Interesting how Nathan used the same advice that Luke gave him concerning Haley and her kiss with Chris. It let Lucas know that no matter how much you love the person and how much they love you back it's not always easy to forgive. I really did enjoy their one bonding moment when they threw the basketball at Chris' head. Definitely one of my favorite scenes. Hope to see these two bond and become brothers again in the future. Although they do look extra hot being all angry at eachother.

Haley/ Peyton: Well, Haley and Peyton finally make amends. Not without Peyton taking some shots at Haley before they actually do. It was good to see that their caring for their friend Brooke was what was able to bring them together and unite in helping her with her predicament. I really did enjoy the scene in the studio with Chris. As they left they totally looked like twins. And the fact that they were wearing their cheer uniforms really reinforced that. Although I did think that Peyton should have made a better apology because she didn't really come out and say I'm sorry. Haley also should of kinda told Peyton off first and then accepted it. but despite the fact that I think it could have been handled better I'm glad that these two are becoming friends again because bitchy Peyton was really getting on my last nerve.

Brooke/Suburban Filth: This store really has some nerve. How are you going to take designs from someone and not reimburse someone for helping you make more of a profit for you? Brooke should get something out of the deal. It was just so wrong how they totally screwed her over. It totally sucked that they did that to her. She was so excited about it and then they go and tell her that she doesn't really get anything for it. They deserved what she and Peyton did in the end when they stole back her designs.Too bad it's illegal and will inevitably bite them in the ass.

Chris/Everyone: Ah, Chris Keller, the pain in everyone's ass. It's amazing how this one person, who doesn't have any relation to anyone here, can affect everyone in such a negative way. I mean first he's a pain in Peyton's ass, then he comes between Nathan and Haley by kissing her then having her leave on tour with him, then he comes between Lucas and Brooke by sleeping with Brooke. The man is a plague. He definitely got what he deserved not only by Peyton slapping him, but also the basketball hitting him in the face. It was definitely a highlight.

Special Mentions: I can't go without mentioning how adorable and hilarious Tim was in this episode. He was definitely even funnier when he brought the idea about the tattoos to Nate. Then later when he showed Nathan his tattoo of a cherub with his jersey number '55'. Too bad Whitey then chose to change it to '0' right then and there to his embarrassment. I love Tim. Hope to see more of him soon. Mouth was also good in this episode when he presented something to Karen that she definitely needed. He was able to capture Dan attacking Nathan in the locker room on his camera phone. Hope to that can help her. But before that drama I have to mention Karen's advice to Lucas about Brooke, " The best way to get over someone is to get under someone else." I was shocked when Karen uttered those words to her son. It was just so hilarious when she finally realized what that meant. It is officially my fave One Tree Hill quote.

Peace, Love, and Hugs.

One Of The Saddest Charmed Episodes I've Seen!

Vaya Con Leos

Well, what can I say about this episode except that it really had me crying through the whole hour. I can't believe that my beloved Leo is now gone. It's just not fair to Piper or their two kids Wyatt and Chris. It's not fair to me. For the Past 5 1/2 years I have been watching this show and have seen Piper and Leo struggle to be together. Everytime it seems they have finally found their happiness something always comes along to wreck it. We deserve some long happy Leo and Piper happiness. I thought that this season they would actually be able to have a happy normal marriage considering Leo was now completely human. Although I do have to admit I do miss Leo being a Whitelighter. I miss the healing and orbing. Thank God for my Charmed Dvds. Sure they would still have their problems within their marriage, but what marriage doesn't have a few problems?

episode was just so heartbreaking and bittersweet. Piper doesn't deserve to have to go through the pain of losing her husband again. It's not fair to her. She lost him in Season 3, then at the end of season 5, then she almost lost him again in Season 6, then almost in Season 7, and now she has to lose him again in Season 8. Give the poor woman a break! All she wanted was to live a semblance of a normal life and be happy. After all the good she has done she can't even have that because the Angel Of Destiny says it's not in her Destiny. That losing Leo would help her in winning an unbeatable force by fueling her anger. What a load of BULLS**T. And poor Leo. He gave up everything to be with his family. But yet again there was something against him. It was sad to see how he wanted to be able to say bye to his son Wyatt but he didn't even get to do that. It was so wrong and so sad. I'm tearing up just thinking about it again.

And the ending montage was just so heartbreaking with Piper looking at the truck she had bought for him and crying. I cried right along with her. Holly Marie Combs does such a great job in portraying that kind of emotion that you just feel it with her. Brian Krause also did an awesome job in this episode. These are two actors that just work so well together. Screw budget cuts, bring Brian Krause back! We want our Leo! And on a side note bring Dorian Gregory back too! We also want our Darryl Morris back! But that's a whole other rant.

This episode by far was one of the saddest and I can only hope that by the end of the season we get Leo back and he and Piper can finally be happy.

Until next time. Peace, Love, And Hugs.

Celebrate The Holidays With These Hit CDs!

Now I know that it's still early and Thanksgiving still has yet to pass, but it is better to be prepared. Now I usually am the first to say wait until it is the month of December to start with all things Christmas, but there's nothing wrong with getting ready for the holiday. And what better way than to talk about my favorite holiday CDs that get me in the holiday mood. Now I have 5 Christmas albums that I listen to every year. Although I am still looking for more to add in my collection. The ones I listen to now are different in each of their own way, but still good. They really know how to brighten my holidays. Let me tell ya what they are.

Jessica Simpson- Rejoyce: The Christmas Album

I'm a big fan of Jessica Simpson and as soon as I heard she had a Christmas album I had to get it. Jessica is an all around talented singer. She can definitely put most of the singers out there to shame. Her octave range and the control she has is just impressive. This album has many holiday classics with some new flavor. She also has two duets on here. The first is Baby, It's Cold Outside with her hubby Nick Lachey and the other is The Little Drummer Boy with her sister Ashlee Simpson. All of the songs here really showcase the diferent ranges Jessica can take her voice. All are beautiful and and really bring in the spirit of the holidays. Even the hauntingly beautiful Breath Of Heaven (Mary's Song). It's one to listen to.

Destiny's Child- 8 Days Of Christmas

The #1 selling female R&B group in the world. The girls really showcased how well their voices blend together in this holiday album. The three of them really are good together. The girls perform some classic holiday hits, along with some new songs. Not only do the girls perform songs together but the girls are also able to sing songs showcasing their talented voices on their own. Beyonce sings her own special rendition of Silent Night, Kelly sings Do You Hear What I Hear, and Michelle performs O Holy Night. Each song is awesome in it's own special way, but my favorites are 8 Days Of Christmas, Spread A Little Love On Christmas Day, and my ultimate fave Opera Of The Bells because the girls manage to sing a song that is normally difficult to learn and perform so flawlessly. The album is just great to listen to.

Christina Aguilera- My Kind Of Christmas

Another amazingly talented female who put together another great album. Out of all my Christmas albums Christina manages to stick to more of the classic approach while performing the classic hits with the exception of four songs. Three are originals and one is a holiday mix of The Christmas Song. X-Tina really makes it her mission to really show off her vocal talent with many ad-libs. My overall favorite song on the album is Christmas Time. It just talks about all the good things about the holidays and being together with family while at the same time making you want to get up and dance. On most of the songs she also manages to put in some Gospel flavor which really works. Especially on the track O Holy Night where she brings in a Gospel Choir. And it's not a Christina album without at least one song that exudes sex and sensuality. That honor goes to the song This Year and she totally sells it without it being too raunchy. It is one album worth hearing.

*N Sync- Home For Christmas

Now on to a group of five very talented guys. Including my very drool worthy imaginary husband Justin Timberlake. Out of all my holiday albums this is the only one that has managed to make me cry with one of their songs. With the combination of heavenly voices and the lyrics it was hard to hold back tears. As the title suggests most of the songs focus on being home and spending time with loved ones. Many are about with being with that special someone. Mostly all the songs have that romantic feel. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays is an exception that is an upbeat, dance tune to sing along when getting in the Holiday spirit. The guys showcase their heavenly sounding voices in an Acapella version of the classic O Holy Night. Another favorite is their version of The First Noel. And the song that really made me cry is The Only Gift. The lyrics in that song are just so beautiful. They really can make a person emotional. One thing that really makes this album stand out is that unlike the other one song focuses on New Year's Eve. Kiss Me At Midnight is a fun tune to dance to when coming up with your New Year's resolutions and when getting to smooch that special someone to ring in the New Year. This is definitely the first album I put in my CD player.

Boyz II Men- Christmas Interpretations

The last album I listen to, not as much as the others, belongs to a top selling male R&B group. Boyz II Men really brings a soulful and sensual blend. My two favorite songs are their renditions of Silent Night ans Let It Snow. The way they sing Silent Night really make me appreciate the song more than I already do. As for Let It Snow, their version makes me want to snuggle with someon special in front of a fire. The collaboration with Brian McKnight really made the song really great. The rest of the album of the album is great in it's own right, but those are the two songs that stand out for me. So, if you are looking to go for a soulful feel during the holidays this is the cd to play.

Those are my top 5 Christmas albums. Hopefully soon I can expand it by adding some more like 98 Degrees, Mariah Carey, 3LW, and some more. I do some have some other Christmas Cds that are compilations, but they're not as good. Well, pick up some good holiday music and celebrate with much love and happiness. Share the Holiday Spirit with all your loved ones. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

And considering that Thanksgiving has yet to pass, I also wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!

Until next time. Peace, Love, and Hugs.

One Tree Hill Episode 3.07 Review!

3.07 Champagne For My Real Friends, Real Pain For My Sham Friends
It's Fantasy Date Night! And oh what a night it was. With interesting pairings and shocking surprises it did not disappoint. Now let's move on to my review.

Haley/Brooke: I had to start with them because it was funny to see Haley set Brooke straight and force her to go on the date with Chris. Brooke hadn't intended to impose a date night, but Tim kind of made it happen. Brooke was adamant on not wanting to go anywhere with Chris. But since her not wanted to go threatened Haley's date with Nathan, Haley was going to make her go. And she did. Unfortunately, Chris and Brooke tagged along with Nate and Hales. it was funny to see all of them together especially considering Chris Keller was there. My favorite scene though between Brooke and Haley had to have been int he mall before the fight because Brooke seemed to really want to help Haley out. Of course I'm not really sure how they got into the little tiff, but it was funny when Chris pushed Nathan and said "Hey look, cat fight." I just love any scenes with Haley and Brooke. Despite their differences they are there for each other. I'm enjoying watching their friendship grow.

Nathan/Haley: This was by far the best episode for Naley fans. There were just so many good Naley scenes that you really can't just choose one. It definitely made up for the lack of Naley scenes last episode. It was really upsetting to see that their wedding site was now being turned into a parking lot. I guess it was kinda supposed to represent the turmoil that is happening in their marriage. And like Brooke and Haley, I must ask why Nathan did not pummel Chris. It was good hearing Haley tell Chris that she wished that Nathan would bludgeon him. And oh how hot was Nathan when he got in Chris' face after he saw him touch Haley. I wish I had a Nathan. I also loved the balcony scene when Nate told Hales that he still remembered their past. And can I say that when he mentioned that they made love on the balcony in the rain, at first I thought Oh, how romantic, but then the next thing that came into my head was, Woah, who knew that Tutorgirl had a kinky side. Especially when the balcony he was talking about happened to be the one outside their front door where anyone could have walked up. Obviously you could expect Nathan to be that daring, but not Haley. That was definitely a surprise. Another great part was when Haley told him that being with him gave her more in life.It kinda made me want to tear up. Now the rooftop scene had to be the best. Nathan writing his own prediction along with her, then giving her the purple flower from their wedding site and him telling her "The roots are still there. It just takes time." was just so touching. And them holding each other in the end was what sealed it. It was just such a perfect scene. James and Joy really acted it well and the chemistry they have on screen is just amazing. It definitely provided a lot of hope. They are definitely headed in the right direction.

Brooke/Chris: This was definitely an unusual pairing. Was glad to see that Brooke still detested him from last season. I think this is the only episode where I actually liked Chris. He had so many great lines. Especially when he was with Brooke. Their interaction was a funny thing to watch. It went from Brooke Telling him oof to them celebrating her designs being on display and drinking champagne on her couch. It did seem like Chris had some sort of genuine interest in Brooke. Or it could have been that he just wanted to sleep with her. It was actually fun to watch these two even though I had my reservations about it.

Brooke/Lucas: I felt so bad for Lucas when he found out that Brooke didn't draft him. He looked so hurt and when he found out Rachel did his words "Well, at least someone wanted me just really showed how much it did. Brooke really wanted to avoid telling him, but was forced to when Tim brought up a date night. But it was good to see them admit that want to be with each other to their respective dates. And Luke was ready to face Lucas, but he was shown a huge betrayal and heartbreak when he caught Brooke in bed with Chris. He face just looked so hurt. And Chris' smirked just made me want to hurt him.Maybe Nathan and Lucas can put aside their differences and bond again by kicking Chris' ass. Now that would definitely be an awesome episode. Who knows why Brooke would do that considering she told Chris Lucas was 'The One'. Maybe it could have been the alcohol, but all I know is that Brooke is gonna have trouble explaining this one. Can't wait to see Nathan and Haley's face when they find out. Looking forward to find out Brooke excuse.

Lucas/Rachel: Again Rachel didn't really bother me this episode. Granted she did seem kind of conniving agreeing to Tim's suggestion right away, then taking Luke by Brooke's and watching, along with him, her leave with Chris. Oh yeah then, being topless in front of him. But I think she does actually have an interest in him. I could be wrong, but that's how I see it. She did actually take the time to listen him and try to understand why he felt Brooke was "The One" for him without any judgement. yeah she did keep reminding him that she was on a date with Chris, but I think that was part of her trying to understand. Who knows if in the end she finally really got and will let him be. But with the new development between Brooke and Chris, who knows? We'll just have to wait and see.

Peyton/Mouth: This was just a really sweet date. Peyton got to meet Mouth's grandpa Mel, who he visits every week. After finding out he was a reace car driver she gets the great idea of springing him from the home he's in. Mouth is hesitant, but finally gives in. That have a great time at a little go cart race track. Seeing Mouth's grandpa so happy was just so great to see. Especially when Peyton finds out from Mouth that Mel suffers from Alzheimers and that he has no memory of the big stuff in his life. It just made me want to cry. The interaction between Mouth and Mel are just so sweet and sad, considering Mel thinks that Mouth is actually his son Joe, Mouth's father. Mouth really opened Peyton's eyes in relation to her wanting to get to know her mother. Peyton and Mouth have a good friendship forming and I hope it continues to do so.

Bevin/Skills: I really like these two together. After Bevin's Stalking fom last week we finally see these two on a date. They hang out at Bevin's house where she has them watch the greatest romantic movie ever The Notebook. Of course being a guy Skills isn't so into it, but after Bevin gives him some incentive he finally starts to watch it. In the end he really gets into the movie and is overtaken by the emotion. It was just funny to watch how interested he got into the movie that he would actually not let Bevin distract him until the movie was over. Skills is just so hilarious. I really want to see more of these two together. Hope it happens.

Deb/Karen: These two are just funny together. They conspire to mess up Dan's billboard. Karen hesitates at first, but then goes along with it. They have fun and it goes well until Karen is surprised by a bird and accidentally knocks down the ladder leaving them stuck. They're unsure of what to do since they have no other way down. They sit and have a heart to heart and then Deb is struck with an idea to get the latter. It involves removing their clothes. In the end they succeed and Karen feels some guilt and wants to peel off what they did. What was revealed under what they did was definitely better than what they had done in the first place so they still managed to get their revenge. I love how their friendship has evolved. It was also great to actually see them having some fun together because it was really lacking. I love how they are their for each other. Especially for their sons and going against Dan.

Special Mentions: I can't post this review without mentioning how hilarious the opening sequence was with the dreams. Most especially the one with Lucas and Chris in bed together. I couldn't stop laughing. Loved how it was revealed that Nate was having the dream of Haley and Brooke almost making out. Bonus that when he woke up from the dream he was shirtless. Yummy. What a bonus. Awww too bad we didn't get to see Dan int his eppy. But he wasn't missed that much. And finally glad to see Fergie and Junk at the end making fun of Skills, who totally got "Notebooked" by Bevin.

Until next time. Peace, Love, and Hugs.

A Related Thanksgiving!

The Sorelli sisters celebrate Thanksgiving! At first Renee their father's fiance wanted to do it, but since they hold it so close to their hearts because it was the last holiday they spent together before their mother got sick they didn't think it would be right without their mother's recipes. So they take on the task of preparing it themselves. Along the way they hit a few snags which bring up many funny moments.

For everything they try to recreate the sisters are brought back memories of their final Thanksgiving with their mother. Some are good, some are bad depending on which sister. During one moment when the sisters are reminiscing Renee inadvertently lets one of their mother's recipe cards catch fire. This causes the girls to snap. Especially Ginnie who yelled at her, which made Renee leave looking hurt. As a result she suffers an asthma attack that lands her in the hospital.

After rushing towards the Hospital Rose recalls a memory herself which reveals to the sisters that their mother was in fact sick before Thanksgiving. A fact that none of the sisters knew before. It was a heartbreaking moment for all the sisters. It even brought tears to my eyes. It was such a heartfelt episode. It just really drew me in with the good combination of sadness and laughter. It was definitely worth watching. There were just so many moments where I didn't know when I would be crying or laughing. I would put this as one of my fave eps.

Until next time. Peace, Love, and Hugs.

One Tree Hill Episode 3.06 Review!

3.06 Locked Hearts And Hand Grenades

Well, we finally get to see something that is the equivalent of the Boy Toy Auction from the cheerleaders. Although I didn't exactly expect it to go the way it went it is still interesting to see come about.

Whitey/Team:  First I have to mention how hilarious it was to see Good old Coach Whitey is not very happy with his team. His unhappiness is a result of the huge brawl that broke out at Midnight Madness. Whitey definitely pushes his team to the limit. Especially Lucas since he has slowed down a bit. Mostly due to his medication for his heart condition which is supposed to inhibit his performance. But Whitey isn't holding any sympathy for anyone. It's fun seeing Whitey being a hardass.

Nathan/Haley: Finally we see these two have some sort of friendly conversation where they share some laughing and it doesn't seem like any of them is uncomfortable. It was kinda funny to Haley pretend to bump into Nathan because she is nervous to just approach him. Nathan of course new it was a staged approach. I just liked that they were able to have a casual conversation and seem comfortable with each other despite everything that is going on between them. It just goes to show that they are taking a step in the right direction. We didn't get too much Naley interaction but the little we did get this week was somewhat satisfying.

Haley/Lucas: Once again we get to see these two show how close they are. Haley telling Lucas that she did some research about why he isn't performing up to standard just showed how much Haley cares about her best friend. Not only that but seeing her confront about him needing to tell Whitey  really showed that Haley is only looking out for Luke's best interests and she doesn't want anything to happen to him.Luke's excuse however as to why he doesn't want to tell Whitey is very lame. I mean come on he's willing to risk his life so the guys on the team won't stop being his friends. Seriously, if they were real friends then they wouldn't abandon you because you aren't on the team. What happened to the Lucas who thought the only friends he needed were Haley, Mouth, Skills, Fergie, and Junk? Guess popularity got to his head.

Lucas/Brooke: Brooke finally realizes that maybe she was a little too hard on Lucas and probably expects too much from him. Peyton finally convinces her that maybe she needs to apologize and let him know that she does have feelings for him. Luke tells Brooke that if she wants him to be the guy that fights for her she needs to him be that guy. Although I know that Brooke is still afraid to give her heart to Lucas again she needs to stop playing games or instead of being with him again she's gonna lose him for good. I just want to see a happy ending for these two.

Rachel: I honestly like this new character. Granted I hate the way she is too Brooke, but I do like how besides that quarrel she does seem to be a nice person. I mean the only person she's really mean to is Brooke. I bet if they didn't have this rivalry they could probably be friends. She tries to get close to Peyton by offering her a bootleg CD of NOFX and even though Peyton was pretty resistant at first, Rachel made a good point saying that even if she and Brooke are at odds doesn't mean Peyton can't be friends with her. I guess Peyton realized that in the end since she grabbed the CD. Even though I don't like her getting in between Brucas I have to say she does Bring out that fire in Brooke that we missed. It's so much fun watching brooke Rant on and on about her. Can't wait to see more.

Peyton/Haley: Once again we have Peyton being hostile towards Haley. I really hate that she is treating Hales this way. I hope that soon this will end. First moment was when Haley mentioned she was working with Chris again. Peyton threw back at her sarcastically that was a great since he was the one to break up her marriage. Hello! It wasn't Haley's idea. Nathan was the one that told her to. But of course Peyt tends to run her mouth before knowing the whole story. Normally I really like Peyton but this season it's a little hard to be sympathetic towards her with her attitude. Especially going in Haley's face and saying she was the one who was going to draft Nathan was beyond rude. I don't get why she feels the need to be hurtful to her. I did like that at the draft Haley finally confronts Peyton. And Peyton did kinda redeem herself when she didn't pick Nate after all. But backtracked once again when she told Haley "It's about time you fight for your husband." First of all Haley's been fighting for Nathan since she came back. And second it really isn't Peyton's business whether she is or isn't. Sometimes it makes you think that Haley left Peyton instead of Nathan. I mean Nathan is the one that Haley left behind and yet he treats her better than Peyton does. If she was really Nate's friend she'd know all the facts before snapping at Haley. Hopefully the writers will redeem Peyton soon and drop her attitude.

Nathan/Peyton: Can I just say how sweet it was of Nathan to tell Peyton that he heard her podcast and that he was sorry about her mom situation. That and when he told her she wasn't alone. That just shows what a good and supportive friend he is. They talk about how he kinda hopes to not be drafted but Peyton let's him know that it's most likely going to happen since Haley's involved, but she offers to draft him if he doesn't want that to happen. If Peyton wasn't so vindictive towards Haley I would find that offer sweet. I wonder what Nathan would say if he knew how Peyton was treating Haley. I doubt he would be fine with. I do like the fact that these two are becoming good friends, but obviously not that close since Peyton doesn't know the whole situation concerning him and Haley. Seems that Nathan hasn't given Peyton all the facts about what's happening between him and Haley, not that he has to. Word of advice Peyton if you want to be a supportive friend and go off on the person who hurt them, make sure you have all the facts because otherwise it just make you seem foolish and out of the loop.

Dan/Karen/Deb: Okay, once again we are treated to Dan and Deb's foolish childish games. Dan peeing in the pool before Deb's swim was just gross. I did like her retaliation with the laxatives. Especially when he started to feel the effects when he tried to intimidate Karen in her cafe. The look on his face and then when he asked if she had a bathroom was just funny.  I do love how no matter what Karen is not taking any of Dan's crap. No pun intended. She isn't afraid of Dan and she lets him know that. She doesn't want to stoop to Dan's level and believes that her reputation as a hardworking, successful, single mother will win the voters over. Dan of course stoops down to a smear campaign which totally catches Karen off guard. It promptly forces her to declare war. And with Deb on her side she'll prove to be a formidable opponent to Dan.

The Ravens Cheerleaders: Catfight! Catfight! Another brawl breaks out between two cheerleaders, Bevin & Ashley, over what else, a guy. Whitey breaks up the fight and informs Brooke that another fight and there will be no more cheerleading. This causes Brooke to take action and formulate a plan that will keep the peace between the squad. Her plan? A Fantasy Boy Draft. Inspired by Lucas' fantasy basketball draft Brooke concocts this draft where each cheerleader chooses a fantasy boy and that is the guy they will stick with until the end of the season. If any cheerleader breaks the draft rules they are kicked off the squad. At first it's a great way for Brooke to snag Lucas and keep Rachel away from him, but it backfires when she decides she wants to teach Rachel a lesson by snagging her pick, which was Chris, and securing Lucas to Haley since Peyton was supposedly getting Nathan. But it all backfired when Peyton picked Mouth instead leaving Nathan to Haley, Brooke already chose Chris leaving Lucas open for Rachel. Personally Brooke should've just stayed picking Lucas. I mean she wanted to keep him away from her in the first place. She should've left Chris for Rachel. It was really sad to watch Brooke have to type Lucas' for Rachel.

Special Mentions: Bevin's fantasy of Skills and the whole butt grabbing scenario was just a great scene to watch. It was definitely hilarious. First, it was just great to see Skills again. Secondly I wonder how long Bevin has supposedly had a crush on him. It just seemed to come out of nowhere. Love that it happened though.  Also It was sweet to see Mouth hoping to be one of the draftees. I felt bad for him when he was getting rejected by the squad. But it was funny how he was still campaigning himself. And it was great to see how happy and proud he was when Peyton chose him because he was the first draft pick. It was a great moment for him.

Until next time. Peace, Love, and Hugs.

The Hot New Ashlee Simpson CD!!

Well, I actually got the cd the first day and let me say that it is good. At first I only really liked about three songs, but then I actually took the time to actually listen to the songs and the lyrics and the whole album turned out to be excellent. I must say that my prediction from my last review about her turned out to be right because I think Ashlee is definately on the right track.

The standout tracks on the album for me are: Boyfriend, Beautifully Broken, Catch Me When I Fall, and I Am Me, Which is the title of her disc. Don't get me wrong all the songs are good, but those are my faves for one reason or other. In the past few days though I mostly just have been listening to I Am Me. The song talks about how you can only be yourself and not change for anyone. It not only has awesome lyrics, but you can really rock out to this song.

Her ballads are also really beautiful. Beautifully Broken is a hauntingly gorgeous ballad about feeling so much emotion whether good or bad for someone that you get to the point that you don't care if everyone can see. Catch Me When I Fall is another great ballad where she talks about feeling that there is no one there for her and she wonders who's gonna be the one to catch her.

The New Album

All of the songs on this new album are relatable one way or another. Ashlee really has a talent for writing good quality songs that make you want to dance or even cry. Well, that's how it is for me at least. If you get a chance, check it out. It is definitely worth a listen.

Until next time. Peace, Love, and Hugs.

One Tree Hill Episode 3.05 Review!

3.05 A Multitude Of Casualties

Well, I kinda of liked this episode just for the hilarious fights. There was a loy in this episode that just made no sense to me but I was still able to enjoy it.

Nathan/Haley: Nathan's intentions are really starting to confuse me. I know he still loves her, that is obvious, but I just don't understand what his plan with Chris. Poor Haley keeps trying to put in an effort to talk to Nate, but he just brushes her off. Haley is trying everything she can to earn Nathan's trust and show him that she's back for good and that she wants to work on being together again. But of course Nathan is still keeping his distance. Although he is, he still wants Haley to do what she loves. So he is working with Chris Keller to make it happen. Haley totally tells Chris off when he approaches her to work together again, which she so needed to do, and refused. Even though that is something Nathan should be happy with, he goes and tells Haley that it's her chance to prove to him that she doesn't have feelings for Chris and earn his trust back. Haley in the end does give in and accepts Chris' offer, unaware that Nathan is behind the whole thing.

Nathan/Whitey: Well, Nathan is officially granted the title of Captain for the Tree Hill Ravens basketball team. Funny how I thought he always was. But I guess I was wrong. Whitey even made a comment about how Nathan was unofficially the captain already, so I guess I wasn't completely wrong. I saw this scene as a foreshadow of what would happen during Midnight Madness since Whitey was emphasizing how it was Nathan's job to promote team unity. Obviously Whitey doesn't know that Nathan & Lucas are once again at odds. Well, in the end he learns the hard way.

Brooke/Rachel:Well, last week we had the pleasure of meeting Rachel as Pam Anderson at the Masquerade party. This week we see her at the cheerleader tryouts. Brooke of course already doesn't like her because of her dancing with Lucas at the party. Can I say that her dancing to David Banner's Play was probably not the best song to tryout with. Anyway Brooke doesn't want her on the squad, but Rachel was obviously the best. Rachel has her own agenda and does her best to manipulate the squad to be on her side much to Brooke's chagrin. The rivalry between them is pretty interesting to watch. What makes it even more interesting  is the rivalry about Lucas. Brooke inadvertently forces Brooke to ask Rachel out and Lucas is using her to make Brooke jealous. It works but just makes Brooke angrier. Rachel of course just wants to push Brooke's buttons. She succeeds when she tries to upstage Brooke at Midnight Madness. It all comes to a head when Rachel Takes it too far and Brooke hits her. They get into an all out brawl in the middle of the gym. It was really great to see. The best part though was in the end when Booke punched her. No one messes with Brooke.

Brooke/Haley: I just love watching scenes between these two. This time Brooke asks Haley to join the cheerleading squad. Haley of course refuses, since it's really not her thing, but Brooke is relentless. Brooke mostly wants to make sure that Rachel is not needed. But to me I also think that Brooke just wants to get closer to Haley and include her. It was funny how Brooke tried the "Nathan will be shirtless and all the girls notice." tactic with Haley to convince her to join. But Haley thinks Nathan will see it as a pathetic attempt to get closer to him. In the end Haley does end up joining the Ravens cheerleading squad. Peyton was a little rude about it with her "Nice outfit" comment but at least she wasn't as hostile and mean as before. I'm glad to see Haley branch out and try something new. And it doesn't necessarily have to be about Nathan.

Brooke/Lucas: Our Luke is a little skewed on the rules of the non-exclusive relationship that Brooke set up and she lets him know that. She tells him that he has to play fair and start seeing other people too. She inadvertently pushes him towards Rachel and later regrets doing it. Lucas uses Rachel as a means to make Brooke so jealous that she'll want to be exclusive with him. In the end Brooke starts to see them together more than she wants ands breaks down to Lucas that what she wanted him to really do was fight for her and show her the guy that said at the beach party that he was the one for her by showing her that he'd rather be alone if he couldn't be with her.. What I think these two need to do is stop playing these mind games and just admit their feelings and get together already.

Lucas/Rachel: Each one has their own agenda when it comes to Brooke. Lucas wants to make her jealous and Rachel just wants to show her up and assimilate herself into Brooke's position. Rachel knows what Lucas' real intentions are with her and she has know problems doing it. She'll participate in anything to get a rise out of Brooke. But she also seems to have a real interest in Luke too. I may be wrong about that, but that's how I see it for now. I can't wait to learn more about Rachel in future episodes.

Dan/Deb: These two just get more comical each week. Deb is caught between a rock and a hard place since Dan won't give her the divorce until he wants, but it isn't stopping her from sabotaging him in his race for mayor. That was hilarious how she walked in during his strategy meeting in lingerie and a glass of alcohol. She was just so funny. And Dan's reaction was just so priceless. Of course Dan had to get her back. He wouldn't be Dan if he didn't. Unfortunately he went too far by sodomizing a dog with her toothbrush. That was just disgusting. And most importantly childish. Deb at least does things that an adult would do, but dan is just doing things that kids would. I mean, come on, he's Dan Scott. Surely he can do something better than that. Hope to see it continue to escalate.

Peyton/Ellie: For the past few weeks we've seen Peyton struggle with the urge to want to get to know her mother. They finally do get to spend some bonding time and it seems that Peyton is really starting to enjoy getting to know Ellie and kind of start to connect with her. They share a lot of things in common which really intrigues Peyton, but then Peyton finds an article Ellie wrote and a drawing she did and Peyton feels betrayed once again by Ellie. Ellie tries to explain and tells Peyt to read the article. She does and gets a whole new perspective. She regrets pushing Ellie away in the end. It was sad seeing Ellie in the Hospital MRI machine while listening to Peyton's Podcast. I hope to see these two find peace and get along.

Nathan/Lucas: This was the moment that people, including myself, were waiting for. Lucas being the good friend that he is once again tried to talk to Nathan about what he is doing to Haley. Nathan like always doesn't want to talk about it. But Lucas keeps pushing until he says the one thing that pushes Nathan over the edge. That thing being that Nathan is just like Dan. When he said that all I thought was "Oh no he didn't say what I think he said." It was the first time that anyone ever said that to Nathan's face and I don't know why but I think Lucas being the one to say it was pretty fitting. It is definitely the ultimate insult to Nate and Luke crossed a major line when he said that. They fight in front of everyone in the pep rally and it lands them in Whitey's office. That's a big UH OH. Whitey is upset and embarrassed by the two and in an attempt to force them to work together again he makes Lucas co-captain. Who knows whether this will make it better or worse.

Midnight Madness: This was definitely madness as Mouth had said it. One of the most interesting was Karen announcing that she was going to run against Dan in the race for Mayor. I'm so happy that Karen is going to do this. She is definitely the best person to oppose him. I certainly hope Karen succeeds and puts Dan in his place once and for all. And I can't go without mentioning the fights. That was by far the best part. Lucas and Nathan Fighting sparked a big brawl with the Basketball team and the fight between Brooke and Rachel sparked a brawl between the cheerleaders. It was so funny to see. One thing though. Why exactly was Peyton fighting the mascot? That had to be the funniest moment. Everytime I think about it just makes me laugh. I'm laughing right now. LOL.

Special mentions: I'm glad to see that Mouth has an official post as sports announcer for the Ravens. But I'm not so sure about that Gigi girl. She really didn't contribute much, but unfortunately she was the only one to come to Mouth's auditions. They really should bring that one guy, Jimmy Edwards, back who was Mouth's sports announcing partner from the first season. I wonder what happened to him.

Well, Peace, Love, and Hugs. Until next time.

I Hate You, I Love You. Let's Talk About Related!

Let me first say that really like the theme song which starts off as " I hate you, I love you." It just encompasses how the relationship between siblings has that love/hate kind of relationship. So it is very fitting for this show which is based on the relationship of four sisters.

Related takes place in New York City where the Sorelli sisters live. Ginnie is the oldest who works as a corporate attorney in a high powered law firm. She is married to British software engineer for the music industry, Bob. In the first episode we find out she is expecting their first child. Ann is the second oldest, who works as a therapist. She recently broke up with her boyfriend of six years Danny.  23-year-old Marjee Sorelli is the third sister who works as an event coordinator who stresses out over her celebrity clients while secretly yearning for respect and approval from her three sisters. The youngest of the four is 19 year old Rose. She is very intelligent and accomplished when it comes to science, but decides to change her major from pre-med to experimental theater. At first her family is a little disappointed in her but are slowly learning to accept it.

The show has a mixture of Sex And The City and Friends but maybe that has to do with the fact that the show was created by writers from each of the respective shows. When I first saw it, I didn't many expectations because I thought the show was doomed since it was getting a little too much promotion. I mean they had the ads all over the place. They gave a promo for the show during every commercial break on the channel. And everyone knows that when there is too much hype surrounding a show, that sometimes means it's doomed to get canceled. But it turns out I really like it. It's funny and really shows the sisterly bonds at it's best and at it's worst. The relationships between them are just so realistic that you just get sucked in to their lives. Or that's just me.

I also enjoy the fact that you are able to relate to any sister. It's just a great show with agreat cast full of chemistry. I do hope this show lasts and that the WB keeps it on the air. So check it out and keep your fingers crossed that it stays on the air if you think it is as entertaining as I do.

Until next time.

One Tree Hill Episode 3.04 Review!

3.04 An Attempt To Tip The Scales

Oh the masquerade party. A chance for everyone to be someone other than themselves for one night. The teens of Tree Hill go and prepare for a wild night. A night full of unexpected surprises and some disappointment.

Haley/Lucas: Every episode now provides us with great interaction between these best friends. The montage in the beginning was just so hilarious with Lucas trying on all the different costumes. And when Haley kinda slipped and said the Jack Sparrow costume was hot Lucas' reaction was funny. And then Haley stumbling about what she meant and then summing it up by saying ewww. It was then Lucas' turn to say ewww when Haley mentioned that she could go to the party naked and Nathan still wouldn't pay attention to her. It's just fun seeing these two so close again. And Haley covering for him when she caught him stealing money from the register. That's what a good friend does. And the end when he finally confesses his having HCM, it was just a sweet moment to watch.

Brooke/Haley: This friendship is just growing on me more and more. It's great to see what a good friend Brooke is being for Haley. Brooke seems genuine in her support to Haley. She seems to really want to help and be there for her. She proved that when she went to talk Nathan into going to the party. It seems that now that they are living together they are growing closer. Even Haley helps in the whole Lucas and Brooke non- exclusive relationship by telling Brooke that Lucas' heart is more fragile than she thinks. We all know it's because of his HCM, but Brooke doesn't. I can't wait to see this friendship develop more.

Lucas/Brooke: This couple is heading into interesting directions. Lucas really wants to make it official with Brooke, but she still doesn't. She's enjoying playing games with him. Going as far as making him dress as Tommy Lee even though she can't stand the rocker. But the plan totally backfired when a beautiful girl showed up dressed as Pam Anderson and danced with Luke. Jealousy got the best of Brooke Davis. Next week should be more interesting.

Nathan/Haley: Well, our little Haley is still in the sulking mood since she isn't getting anywhere with Nathan. It's affecting her so much that she can't even play her music. Nathan is still keeping his distance and guarding his heart. I don't think he even knew how much Haley was hurting also until Brooke came and informed him that Haley hasn't been able to write a song since they split. In Brooke's words, "No Nathan. No music." It causes Nathan to re-think some things concerning Haley. He even makes a secretive call to someone informing them that Haley can't know. He eventually shows up at the party dressed as a very sexy looking Batman and rescues Haley when she falls on the floor. But unfortunately some things are said that amke Haley upset and she runs off in tears. Haley finally declares that she' tired of games and just being her should be enough. I'm proud that Haley came to this conclusion and is just going to be herself. The way she sees it is that Nathan fell in love with her when she was just tutor girl Haley and that is how she will win him back. Nathan is trying to help Haley get back on track with music and behind her back he contacted none other than the man he hates, Chris Keller. The man he believes ruined his marriage. But Nathan loves haley so much that he doesn't want her to stop making music so he is willing to overcome that. Not to say he doesn't hate Chris anymore. He did tell Chris that he didn't trust him and that if he touched Haley he would crush him, which I would love to see because an angry Nathan is a very hot Nathan especially if he's hurting the scrawny poser, Chris Keller. But the fact that Nathan was able to call him is a true testament to how much he loves Haley. On a side note, wasn't it kinda creepy that Chris sent Nate a letter while he was at High Flyers. Not only that but smelling of perfume. That was weird. And I so wanted to punch Chris when he had that creepy smile when he showed up at his hotel room and a Batman costume was revealed. God, how did he know that was what Nate dressed as ans I really hope he wasn't the one that kissed her. Because Haley believes it was Nathan and it just made her so happy that it would be truly disappointing if it wasn't him. Well, that was my long rant on Naley. Can't help it, they are my fave couple.

Peyton/Everyone: Peyton's life seems to get more complicated. She finds out that her birth mom, Ellie has cancer and is dying and now has to struggle with the decision of getting to know her and losing a mom again or not getting to know her and avoiding the pain. Tough decision and I think Peyton will get to know her soon. She's hesitant because she feels if she does that she'll forget about her mom Anna. But she'll do it I'm sure. She had a nice little exchange with Nate. Short but still nice. I still don't like how she is freezing Haley out and her reasons for why were crap when Haley asked why she was so pissed. I did like the fact that Haley finally said something to her though. And I can't forget the little disco dance with Mouth it was really good and looked like she had a lot of fun. A little weird considering her costume but still fun to see.

Dan/Deb: We finally got Deb back on the screen.Dan is truly a sick individual. Framing the Mayor just so he can run for the title himself. I did love how Deb kept getting back at him since he is forcing her to act like the perfect little wife. Favorite part was definitely when she used the stun gun on him in the bed. Dan getting her back with the super glued phone and horn was kinda childish though. It was a little funny. Not as funny as the stun gun, but funny. Dan just needs to get what he deserves and I think that Karen is the woman for the job.

Special Mention: Fall Out Boy was a fun addition to the episode. I totally love their song Dance, Dance. It's fun and energetic. It's just a great song to dance to. Hope to see more great performers appear on the show in the future.

Well that's all for now. Until next time. Peace, Love, and Hugs.

Prey. Slay. Display. The Horror In The House Of Wax.

Prey. Slay. Display.

For some reason I really like the tag line to this movie. Well, anyway I saw this movie originally back when it first came out on May 6, 2005. I wanted to see it for the simple fact that Chad Micheal Murray was in it. Yes, I admit it. I like him on One Tree Hill, so I had to see the movie. Even though I don't like going to see horror movies in the theatre. I like to see them in a controlled environment like the safety of my own room with a trusty pause and fast forward button on a remote. I also had to see Paris Hilton and see how well she could act. That and her death scene. I like Elisha Cuthbert and Jared Padalecki too, but Chad and Paris were my biggest draw.

The movie is about six college friends who are on their way to see the biggest football game of the season. On their way they stop to camp  and are sidetracked when of the cars breaks down. They are drawn to the small town of Ambrose and it's House Of Wax Museum. Soon they discover that the small town isn't what it seems. They are brought into a scary fight for their lives against two psychotic brothers who would love to add them in their sickening displays.

The movie definitely has it's shock factor and of course the ick factor due to some gruesome deaths. But it is a fun ride to watch. I like it. But then again, I'm accused of liking everything easily, so don't take my word for it and check it out. It's out on DVD now.

What Is Up With The Charmed Ones?

Well, it's been awhile since I talked about my fave supernatural show Charmed. It could be because I feel that this season is kind of on a slow start. Which is kind of turning me off a little. But let me explain how every character is so far.

Piper: My fave sister out of all of them. It's probably because she's not shamelessly flaunting herself like the others. She's just a natural beauty. Now don't get me wrong I do like the others, it's just they are more of the shameless beauty types who don't mind flaunting their sexuality. But anyway Piper has trouble adjusting to her new identity even though living a normal life is something she's wanted for a long time. I guess she wanted to do that with her own identity. Unfortunately her identity got her in trouble when she was arrested fo murder. She had to change it of course. Then came the challenge of being a good mother at wyatt's school without actually saying she's his mother. So far I think Piper wants her old life back. Even if it involves vanquishing Demons & Warlocks.

Phoebe: This season Phoebe is annoying me to no end with her obsession to get married and pregnant with Dex very soon. I hate that this is all she wants to focus on. Personally I just thinks it's sinking her character to a major low. She's only thinking of herself and not letting things happen naturally. It's just ridiculous. What makes it more so is that Dex thinks she's someone else. How she plans to do this without thinking about how she should let him know is just wrong. I'm getting frustrated right now with her. I hope they resolve her whole storyline soon.

Paige: Now Paige is once again on her search to find a life outside of magic, but is unfortunately failing. No matter how hard she tries she can't get away from it. Out of all three of the sisters it's more difficult for Paige because of her Whitelighter half. Fact proven by her newest charge Billie. That just makes me feel sorry for Paige. Phoebe has the newspaper column and her sickening obsession with Dex and Piper has her husband, her two sons, and the club. All Paige has is magic. She doesn't have a job anymore to keep her busy or a love life, so all she can do is focus on magic. I bet she regrets quitting her social services job. Hope that they give her something fulfilling soon.

Leo: Oh my heavenly Leo. Well not so heavenly anymore since he is no longer an angel and is now a mere mortal. I kinda miss Leo being a whitelighter. I miss seeing him orb and healing people. But now he is just Piper's husband and the father to Wyatt and Chris. He is still able to provide some magical knowledge and help sometimes, but not as much as before. Now he seems to only be a house-husband. Kinda sad for him. He is good at it though. At being a husband and a father I mean.

Billie: I don't really have much to say about her since she really had a storyline for herself. But she is now learning all that she needs to know about witchcraft from the Charmed Ones and seems to be getting the hand of it. She's even provided some helpful ideas and plans. But I bet we can expect trouble from her soon. She is just a new witch after all.

Well that's how I see my favorite witches so far this season. Hopefully soon the season will start to pick up soon and give us more good stuff. Until next time.

One Tree Hill Episode 3.03 Review

3.03 First Day On A Brand New Planet

Many interesting and unexpected things happened in this episode. Many firsts also happened, like Haley almost getting into a fight, but I'll get into that a little later. I enjoyed this eppy and I will now go on to tell you why.

Haley/Lucas: Everytime I now see these two acting as the best friends they were in Season 1 I  just get happier. It's really refreshing to see this friendship being explored again. I really liked the little tradition they have for the night before the first day of school with the predictions. I just love how supportive Lucas is of her and how he is just there for her. It's good that Haley can count on him again.

Haley/Brooke: I had some doubts about the two of them living together. I mean yeah they were starting to really explore a friendship last season, but it didn't get far since Haley left on the tour. But I must say I do love this growing friendship. Like Lucas, Brooke is there for Haley. She consoles her when she's feeling down and gives her some advice. You can see that she really cares for her .  I'm glad that Haley has Brooke too. It used to be Peyton, but since Peyton is so angry she's no longer a person to count on. And the fact that they are now roommates just makes it more fun and interesting to watch.

Lucas/Brooke: Can I just say that I love how Lucas has turned this around on Brooke and is now playing her game and teasing her. It was just entertaining to see. Lucas really wants their relationship to be exclusive, but Brooke is still hesitant to take that leap. And it's understandable considering he did cheat on her with her best friend Peyton when they first dated. It's just interesting to see how this relationship develops.

Haley/Gossip Girls: Oh this sure was fun to watch. These group of girls just taunting and making fun of Haley. At first I thought what makes these girls want to make fun of Haley. But hey they were probably thinking, " There's a girl who went touring the country with big music stars supposedly becoming a star herself, but yet she's back here. She probably failed." I liked that Haley just ignored them. But as soon as they made the Kelly Clarkson comment I loved how Haley just turned around and stood up for herself. It was fun to see Haley get into a little brawl. It was the first time we ever saw Haley lose her calm composure, well besides when she was pulling on Taylor's hair last season. But then again that doesn't really count since Taylor is her sister. But watching Haley lose it especially at school was very interesting.

Nathan/Peyton: Well I do like the friendship that these two have been building up in the last two seasons considering their history together. Nathan does need a good friend that he can talk to since he is again on the outs with Lucas and Tim is too much of a goofball to take anything serious. Although it is hard to listen to them talk about things they used to do when they dated. Considering I'm a big Naley and Jeyton fan. They just never worked as a couple. Nathan belongs with Haley and Peyton belongs with Jake. That's how it should be. But I do like their growing friendship.

Haley/Peyton: Now here's where I must rant. Peyton is still being very hostile and passive-aggressive towards Haley. Haley has done NOTHING to Peyton for her to be acting that way. Whatever is going on between Haley and Nathan is between them and Peyton needs to back off. Like I've said before, I know Peyton wants to be there for Nathan, but she has no right to act that way towards Haley. Even Nathan isn't that mean to Haley and he's the one that was directly affected. Sure he avoids her but it's because he doesn't want to hurt her. Peyton does it intentionally. Peyton needs to remember that she is really mad at her biological mom Ellie and not Hales. Like Haley said it wasn't like she was the one that gave her up for adoption. Peyton better get an attitude adjustment soon.

Haley/Nathan: Everytime I see scenes between these two I am amazed all over again by the chemistry between them. Haley still wants so badly to be with Nathan again, but he is still trying to avoid her. It's kind of hard when they have their lockers right next to each other and keep running into each other at school. Even being put into detention together. But you can still see the love so evident between them.  Nathan shocked Haley when he told her that he looked into a divorce. He didn't want to get the annulment because he doesn't want to act like their marriage didn't exist. They did have good times together and he wants to hold onto those memories.  The state said that they'd have to be separated for a year. Haley still holds on to the hope that they can fix their problems and be together again. Nate wants to see what happens. I know that, like Haley, Nathan has hope that maybe they can be together again, but he wants to be prepared if it doesn't. Which is kinda smart. But, as seen buy Haley's senior prediction, she is determined to get Nathan back and we can only hope that she succeeds. We can only wait now.

Haley/Nathan/Whitey: This has got to be one of the funniest parts of the entire episode. Whitey was just handing these two detention slips like it was water. He seemed mean when he gave the detentions, mostly to Haley since we never really saw him give Nathan the detentions, but if you watched closely you could catch the little eye winks he gave Haley. He was just trying to give the couple an opportunity to have no choice but to talk. It didn't really work well since they only talked once and it was about Haley's little fight and then when Haley tried to get serious Nate brushed her off. It was nice to see Whitey try to help in his own way. It was great to see Whitey on screen again.

Dan/Whitey: These two are always butting heads and it is always Dan initiating it. Dan justs holds this grudge against Whitey and he won't let go until Whitey is out of his way. Whitey for one proves to be a worthy opponent. I'm glad that he doesn't take any crap from Dan. But I must say Dan sunk to a new low when he went before the School Board to get Whitey fired. Luckily he didn't succeed. The team needs their Coach Whitey.

Dan/Lucas: It's amazing to see how Dan doesn't really care much about Lucas who is his first born. But then again he did abandon him. Dan takes every opportunity to taunt Lucas and it's good that Lucas is not afraid to stand up to him. But what was really surprising was no matter how bad Dan is to Lucas I never thought that he would go as far as actually physically harm him. When Dan started choking Lucas, since he thought Luke was the one who tried to kill him, I was really surprised. But what was redeeming was when he found out the truth that Luke actually saved him. You can kind of see a look of regret. Can't wait to find out what happens next.

Dan/Nathan: Finally a scene between Dan and Nathan. Obviously Nathan still has major resentment towards his father, due to his sarcastic comments to him. Their first scene together was normal banter, with Nathan finding out Dan's plan to get rid of Whitey. But the second scene kind of confused me. I don't know what Dan's comment about Nathan shouldn't really unpack was about. Also his sullen look when Nathan told him it was kind of pathetic for him to be hanging around considering Deb kicked him out and his comment that there is nothing wrong with a man trying to hold on. It was hard to tell whether he was being sincere and trying to be helpful to Nathan or it was another one of his manipulative games. But knowing Dan it's the latter of the choices. But it did give Nathan a push to go see Haley and talk.

Special Mentions: Where the hell is Deb? I don't recall anyone saying anything about where she's been for the last two episodes. Unless she's been working at the cafe offscreen. Hope to see her soon. And also gotta give Karen props for standing up for Whitey at the School Board meeting and helping him keep his job. It was just great watching her beat Dan once again.

Well, there is my long review. Until next time.

Shaun Of The Dead

Shaun Of The Dead is a romantic comedy with zombies. At least that's how it is promoted. I bought the movie last weekend due to the fact that I wanted to watch a scary movie but laugh at the same time. Honestly the movie is not that scary but it does have it's moments. This movie has kept me entertained during my most boring moments. Some would say why waste my time watching this, but hey I'm just easy to please.

Well, the movie Shaun Of The Dead is about a man named, Shaun who is stuck living a life that follows the same routine. He has a girlfriend named Liz who dumps him after he breaks another promise and doesn't really romance her. He wallows in pity with his best friend Ed. Unbeknownst to him an epidemic is infecting the whole city and turning them into the undead. The next day he and Ed along with Liz, Shaun's mother Barbara, and Liz's friends Dianne and David fight to survive in a city overrun by zombies.

The movie is meant to scare but also combines it with comedy so not only do you get a good scare but a good laugh as well. I personally thought the movie was put together well and achieved it's purpose. That purpose being to entertain. I liked the movie and think that it is worth the chance to be seen at least once. If you want to know more about the synopsis and get a glimpse of the trailer be sure to check out the website:

Ashlee Simpson Gaining Momentum

When I first heard about Jessica Simpson's younger sister Ashlee she was on the WB's 7th Heaven playing Simon's girlfriend Cecilia Smith. I didn't know that like her sister she was also a singer. Ashlee had toured with Jessica as her dancer. But never once did she sing. So it was kind of surprise to hear that she was coming out with a reality show about her journey on making her first cd. To be frank Ashlee is not the mega talented singer such as her sister Jessica, since Jessica's singing can put many singers to shame, but for the music Ashlee does sing she does hold talent. Ashlee's music has that rock kind of edge and is really fun to dance and go crazy with.

Debut Album
Her first record Autobiography had a bunch of songs that were definitely rockin'. Among my favorites are: Surrender, Better Off, Love Makes The World Go Round, and of course LaLa. Each song was written by Ashlee herself making each one personal. Autobiography was about herself, Shadow was written about her sister, Pieces of Me about her ex Ryan Cabrera, and Unreachable about her ex Josh Henderson. Upon it's release it quickly  became a hit. Catapulting Ashlee to instant stardom.

In the past year Ashlee has had many ups and downs. She graced many magazine covers, won many awards, had a hit reality show for two seasons, and starred in a movie Undiscovered. Some downs were her discovery that she has acid reflux disease, her Saturday Night Live incident, and the booing at the Orange Bowl. But Ashlee is strong willed and overcame it all.

Upcoming Album
She is now ready for the release of her sophomore album I Am Me. Her first single is Boyfriend. Which many speculate is about Lindsay Lohan and her accusation that Ashlee had went out with her ex Wilmer Valderama. Ashlee will continue to have much success and hopefully her second CD will be as good or better than  her first.

One Tree Hill Episode 3.02 Review!

3.02 From The Edge Of The Deep Green Sea

Well, this episode sure did lift my spirits a little after last week. And to make my review easy I am going to break it down by characters. So here it goes.

Nathan/Lucas: Can I just say that the one on one between them was just HOT! While I was watching it the only word that came to mind was DAMN! James Lafferty has definitely been working hard on the court because his moves just put Chad to major shame. And yes I know James is a talented basketball player in real life but I don't think he has played like that on the show before. They were playing for their friendship since Nathan is still pissed at Lucas for going after their father. Lucas thinks it's crap but Nathan doesn't. Lucas loses so they are still on the outs. The second scene between was again at the Rivercourt but this time Lucas went to confront Nathan about his avoidance of Haley.Lucas playing the role of protective older brother to his best friend was sweet. Nathan tells Lucas to butt out but Lucas warns him that if he mistreats Haley he will make him hurt. I like that Haley has someone in her corner. And I'm glad Lucas is back full force protecting his best friend.

Nathan/Haley: The main reason I watch the show. That and shirtless Nathan is not bad on the eyes either. Poor Haley really wants to fix her relationship with Nate but he is still hurt and angry. He didn't even tell her that he was back in town from High Flyers. She had to find out from Luke. When she went to see him in the weight room the awkwardness and tension was so evident even though clearly you can see that they both love each other still. Nathan noticed that Haley put her wedding ring back on. I don't know if the smile that crossed his face was because she was wearing her ring or simply because of the end of summer beach party she was mentioning but it was sweet none the less. I was a little worried at first when he didn't show up to the party and Haley looked so upset and lonely. But after the confrontation with Lucas he came and then asked to talk with her. Nathan apologized for not telling her he was back but just didn't want to hurt her since he is still angry. I loved that he wanted to be completely honest with her about what he is feeling even if it isn't really what she wants to hear. But of course Haley lets him know she'll be there. I just loved how open and honest this conversation was and even though it didn't seem much like it, it gave us Naley fans some hope.

Lucas/Haley: I just have to mention how happy I am that they are acting like the best friends we knew and loved in Season 1. The writers kind of lost sight of this special relationship in Season 2. The scenes in Brooke and Haley's apartment were kind of bittersweet since they were joking around but then he broke the news about Nathan's return. Then of course Lucas defending Haley when he went to talk to Nathan. And of course at the end when they took the walk along the beach as a way to comfort each other. It was perfect. Loved Lucas' line "I think this the beginning of a beautiful friendship, again." It just summed it up.

Peyton: Okay I usually love Peyton, especially with Jake, but her attitude is really bugging me. I know she's upset about her mother, but does that really give her the right to be mean the way she was to her father and Haley. I would've been mad at my dad too but she was a little too rude and disrespectful to him for my liking. She should've gotten smacked for that. As for the rudeness towards Haley was completely uncalled for. Haley has put an effort into talking with Peyton by calling her and Peyton was just rude and bitter. That was also really mean when she played the duet Haley did with Chris. Peyton needs to take her anger out on her mother and not on Haley.

Lucas/Brooke: This non-exclusive thing is still kinda weird to me. I don't really see it working out too much. Obviously Lucas thinks so too seeing as he looked hurt when he saw her with other guys.  Something's gotta happen to end this soon because it looks awkward. Hopefully it won't last long.

Dan: Now this is an evil man. Totally hated how he taunted Haley when she came to see Nathan at the house. Subtle move when he asked Haley if she left her leather gloves to see if she had anything to do with the fire. And in the end when he saw Lucas at the bonfire and flashbacked to the fire remembering and he visualized Lucas there, totally irked me because now he believes Lucas did it and I don't think Luke would do something like that. No matter how much Lucas hates Dan I don't he would go as far as trying to kill him. I think he saved him. But hopefully soon we'll find out who did really set the fire. Not to mention his convo with Karen. Was so proud of the things Karen said to him.

Tim: Yay!!! Tim is back and funnier than ever. Although I think he sounded dumber than ever, too. Is it even possible for Tim to get dumber?  Apparently so if this episode is of any evidence. Favorite scene was him naked on the couch playing the guitar and singing his song. Though I thought it was a little insensitive of him to ask Haley to sing When The Stars Go Blue. Thankfully Nathan threw his guitar in the fire. Hopefully we'll have a lot more Tim in future episodes.

Special Mention: Karen saying "Woot" & "What What" was one of the funniest things I've seen. That and Lucas dancing at the party. Kept me laughing the rest of the night.

That was my review. Overall, I liked the episode. Can't wait till next week. Until next time.

The Excellent One Tree Hill Soundtrack!!!!!

Well, Just popped in my One Tree Hill Soundtrack and just thought hey I should write a review since I have nothing better to do. If you love the show and especially love the music on the show then the CD is for you. It compiles the best music on the show into one CD for fans to enjoy. I for one love all the music they play on the show to convey the different moods on screen. So the soundtrack was worth my money.

The soundtrack has music from Gavin DeGraw, The Wreckers, Jimmy Eat World,  Tyler Hilton & Bethany Joy Lenz (who plays Haley James Scott on the show) ,  Sheryl Crow, Trespassers William, and more.  All the songs are really good and are great for any mood.

Here is a full tracklist of the music on the CD:

1. I Don't Want To Be - Gavin DeGraw (Live)
2. Kill - Jimmy Eat World
3. Re-Offender - Travis
4. The Good Kind - The Wreckers
5. Overdue - The Get Up Kids
6. Funny Little Feeling - Rock-N-Roll Soldiers
7. Glad - Tyler Hilton (acoustic)
8. Shoot Your Gun - 22-20's
9. Sidewalks - Story Of The Year
10. When The Stars Go Blue - Tyler Hilton/Bethany Joy Lenz
11. Everybody's Changing - Keane
12. Mix-Tape - Butch Walker
13. First Cut Is The Deepest, The - Sheryl Crow (acoustic)
14. Lie In The Sound - Trespassers William

Along with the soundtrack there was the One Tree Hill Tour where The Wreckers, Gavin, DeGraw, Bethany Joy Lenz, and Tyler Hilton performed.

Until tomorrow where I will review tomorrow's new episode of One Tree Hill.

Musical Talents Of Bethany Joy Lenz

When I first started watching One Tree Hill I did not know that Bethany Joy Lenz, also known as just Joy (formerly spelled as Joie), was not only a talented actress but also a talented singer/songwriter as well. Joy is known for her acting talents on shows like One Tree Hill and Guiding Light. She has had guest spots on Charmed, Felicity, Off Centre, and Maybe It's Me. She has also starred in movies such as Bring It On Again and Thinner. But I recently discovered that she happens to be a very talented songstress who plays and writes her own music. Sure she has sang on a couple of episodes of One Tree Hill, but it's a show and sometimes the actors aren't really that talented they just pretend to be by lip synching to someone else's voice. That's the magic of TV.

After discovering about her music I was on a mission to download as many songs of hers as I could find. After listening to them all you just could hear how beautiful and soulful her voice is. She clearly is very talented. Her music is mostly acoustic and doesn't have much of the technical sound like a studio CD. Joy had independently recorded these tracks in a friend's home. She also put together two unreleased CDs Preincarnate and Come On Home.

This past year Joy went on tour with Gavin DeGraw, Tyler Hilton, and The Wreckers on the One Tree Hill Tour. The tour was sponsored by the show and everyone who went on the tour were featured in the show. Gavin DeGraw performs the show's theme song and had a guest spot in the show, The Wreckers appeared on the episode The Hero Dies In This One in Season 2, and finally Tyler has a recurring role on the show as Chris Keller. An extra bonus on the tour was in every city cast members from the show would do introductions. Also on the tour Joy sold copies of her Come On Home CD. The tour was a huge success and was sold out in every city.

Joy has been gaining much exposure musically since the tour. She recently signed with Epic Records and hopes to release her first full length CD in 2006. She is also featured on the One Tree Hill Soundtrack performing a duet with Tyler Hilton called When The Stars Go Blue.

Overall Joy is just one very talented woman. I anxiously await her CD. The songs I listen to now are just beautiful. I wonder if on her new CD if it will be better. If you want to find out more about Joy check out this site:
