Well, what can I say about the new season? So far for me it's going a little slow. Maybe it's because I don't like the fact that the sisters are pretending to be dead and have taken new identities to be able to live normal lives and not have to fight demons.I know that Brad Kern went this route in the story line because that was the only choice he had after the cliffhanger from last season since they didn't know if they were coming back for an 8th season. But I still can't wait until the girls can be themselves again.
Now about the new witch Billie played by 8 Simple Rules' Kaley Cuoco (Love the name Kaley for some reason). I kinda like her even though there are a lot of people out there who aren't so crazy about the new addition. She brings in a new freshness and lighthearted fun to the show that Rose did when she first joined the cast back in the 4th season. But I do think they need to write better storylines for her soon because for right now her character seems to just be there for mundane things and no real purpose. At least not yet really.
Oh god, where do I even start with the Dex and Phoebe storyline? Frankly I like when Phoebe might get a new love interest, but I hate how she gets a premonition about marrying the guy and now her focus is to hurry up and get to know him just to marry him and get pregnant just because of her premonition. There's no focus or clarity that maybe she should take her time and wait to see if she falls in love and if this is really the right guy. She's only focused on getting married and pregnant which really bothers me.She's not even considering his feelings. Yeah maybe she will really fall in love but they way she is going about it is wrong.
Here is something that really bugs me. Where are Piper and Leo's boys? We don't really see them during the show. Well we've seen Wyatt a couple of times but have yet to see Chris. Sometimes they don't even give explanations to where they are. I mean they don't have to be shown all the time, but once or twice would be nice. Ha I just rhymed.
I just hope Season 8 turns out to be really good considering I was a little disappointed with Season 7.There was only a handful of episodes that I actually liked in that season. I've always been excited about the new seasons of Charmed but this year not so much since I'm a little hesitant as to whether or not it will turn out to be like Season 7. Charmed will always be my number 1 show favorite but it is disappointing when it doesn't do as well as it should and I find myself more excited about other shows than this one. I should be excited about all of them equally.
Well, that's my rant on Charmed. Maybe later I'll talk about the comedy 7th Heaven. Oh wait, it's supposed to be a Drama. More like a comedy to me, at least lately.
