Celebrate The Holidays With These Hit CDs!

Now I know that it's still early and Thanksgiving still has yet to pass, but it is better to be prepared. Now I usually am the first to say wait until it is the month of December to start with all things Christmas, but there's nothing wrong with getting ready for the holiday. And what better way than to talk about my favorite holiday CDs that get me in the holiday mood. Now I have 5 Christmas albums that I listen to every year. Although I am still looking for more to add in my collection. The ones I listen to now are different in each of their own way, but still good. They really know how to brighten my holidays. Let me tell ya what they are.

Jessica Simpson- Rejoyce: The Christmas Album

I'm a big fan of Jessica Simpson and as soon as I heard she had a Christmas album I had to get it. Jessica is an all around talented singer. She can definitely put most of the singers out there to shame. Her octave range and the control she has is just impressive. This album has many holiday classics with some new flavor. She also has two duets on here. The first is Baby, It's Cold Outside with her hubby Nick Lachey and the other is The Little Drummer Boy with her sister Ashlee Simpson. All of the songs here really showcase the diferent ranges Jessica can take her voice. All are beautiful and and really bring in the spirit of the holidays. Even the hauntingly beautiful Breath Of Heaven (Mary's Song). It's one to listen to.

Destiny's Child- 8 Days Of Christmas

The #1 selling female R&B group in the world. The girls really showcased how well their voices blend together in this holiday album. The three of them really are good together. The girls perform some classic holiday hits, along with some new songs. Not only do the girls perform songs together but the girls are also able to sing songs showcasing their talented voices on their own. Beyonce sings her own special rendition of Silent Night, Kelly sings Do You Hear What I Hear, and Michelle performs O Holy Night. Each song is awesome in it's own special way, but my favorites are 8 Days Of Christmas, Spread A Little Love On Christmas Day, and my ultimate fave Opera Of The Bells because the girls manage to sing a song that is normally difficult to learn and perform so flawlessly. The album is just great to listen to.

Christina Aguilera- My Kind Of Christmas

Another amazingly talented female who put together another great album. Out of all my Christmas albums Christina manages to stick to more of the classic approach while performing the classic hits with the exception of four songs. Three are originals and one is a holiday mix of The Christmas Song. X-Tina really makes it her mission to really show off her vocal talent with many ad-libs. My overall favorite song on the album is Christmas Time. It just talks about all the good things about the holidays and being together with family while at the same time making you want to get up and dance. On most of the songs she also manages to put in some Gospel flavor which really works. Especially on the track O Holy Night where she brings in a Gospel Choir. And it's not a Christina album without at least one song that exudes sex and sensuality. That honor goes to the song This Year and she totally sells it without it being too raunchy. It is one album worth hearing.

*N Sync- Home For Christmas

Now on to a group of five very talented guys. Including my very drool worthy imaginary husband Justin Timberlake. Out of all my holiday albums this is the only one that has managed to make me cry with one of their songs. With the combination of heavenly voices and the lyrics it was hard to hold back tears. As the title suggests most of the songs focus on being home and spending time with loved ones. Many are about with being with that special someone. Mostly all the songs have that romantic feel. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays is an exception that is an upbeat, dance tune to sing along when getting in the Holiday spirit. The guys showcase their heavenly sounding voices in an Acapella version of the classic O Holy Night. Another favorite is their version of The First Noel. And the song that really made me cry is The Only Gift. The lyrics in that song are just so beautiful. They really can make a person emotional. One thing that really makes this album stand out is that unlike the other one song focuses on New Year's Eve. Kiss Me At Midnight is a fun tune to dance to when coming up with your New Year's resolutions and when getting to smooch that special someone to ring in the New Year. This is definitely the first album I put in my CD player.

Boyz II Men- Christmas Interpretations

The last album I listen to, not as much as the others, belongs to a top selling male R&B group. Boyz II Men really brings a soulful and sensual blend. My two favorite songs are their renditions of Silent Night ans Let It Snow. The way they sing Silent Night really make me appreciate the song more than I already do. As for Let It Snow, their version makes me want to snuggle with someon special in front of a fire. The collaboration with Brian McKnight really made the song really great. The rest of the album of the album is great in it's own right, but those are the two songs that stand out for me. So, if you are looking to go for a soulful feel during the holidays this is the cd to play.

Those are my top 5 Christmas albums. Hopefully soon I can expand it by adding some more like 98 Degrees, Mariah Carey, 3LW, and some more. I do some have some other Christmas Cds that are compilations, but they're not as good. Well, pick up some good holiday music and celebrate with much love and happiness. Share the Holiday Spirit with all your loved ones. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

And considering that Thanksgiving has yet to pass, I also wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!

Until next time. Peace, Love, and Hugs.

One Tree Hill Episode 3.07 Review!

3.07 Champagne For My Real Friends, Real Pain For My Sham Friends
It's Fantasy Date Night! And oh what a night it was. With interesting pairings and shocking surprises it did not disappoint. Now let's move on to my review.

Haley/Brooke: I had to start with them because it was funny to see Haley set Brooke straight and force her to go on the date with Chris. Brooke hadn't intended to impose a date night, but Tim kind of made it happen. Brooke was adamant on not wanting to go anywhere with Chris. But since her not wanted to go threatened Haley's date with Nathan, Haley was going to make her go. And she did. Unfortunately, Chris and Brooke tagged along with Nate and Hales. it was funny to see all of them together especially considering Chris Keller was there. My favorite scene though between Brooke and Haley had to have been int he mall before the fight because Brooke seemed to really want to help Haley out. Of course I'm not really sure how they got into the little tiff, but it was funny when Chris pushed Nathan and said "Hey look, cat fight." I just love any scenes with Haley and Brooke. Despite their differences they are there for each other. I'm enjoying watching their friendship grow.

Nathan/Haley: This was by far the best episode for Naley fans. There were just so many good Naley scenes that you really can't just choose one. It definitely made up for the lack of Naley scenes last episode. It was really upsetting to see that their wedding site was now being turned into a parking lot. I guess it was kinda supposed to represent the turmoil that is happening in their marriage. And like Brooke and Haley, I must ask why Nathan did not pummel Chris. It was good hearing Haley tell Chris that she wished that Nathan would bludgeon him. And oh how hot was Nathan when he got in Chris' face after he saw him touch Haley. I wish I had a Nathan. I also loved the balcony scene when Nate told Hales that he still remembered their past. And can I say that when he mentioned that they made love on the balcony in the rain, at first I thought Oh, how romantic, but then the next thing that came into my head was, Woah, who knew that Tutorgirl had a kinky side. Especially when the balcony he was talking about happened to be the one outside their front door where anyone could have walked up. Obviously you could expect Nathan to be that daring, but not Haley. That was definitely a surprise. Another great part was when Haley told him that being with him gave her more in life.It kinda made me want to tear up. Now the rooftop scene had to be the best. Nathan writing his own prediction along with her, then giving her the purple flower from their wedding site and him telling her "The roots are still there. It just takes time." was just so touching. And them holding each other in the end was what sealed it. It was just such a perfect scene. James and Joy really acted it well and the chemistry they have on screen is just amazing. It definitely provided a lot of hope. They are definitely headed in the right direction.

Brooke/Chris: This was definitely an unusual pairing. Was glad to see that Brooke still detested him from last season. I think this is the only episode where I actually liked Chris. He had so many great lines. Especially when he was with Brooke. Their interaction was a funny thing to watch. It went from Brooke Telling him oof to them celebrating her designs being on display and drinking champagne on her couch. It did seem like Chris had some sort of genuine interest in Brooke. Or it could have been that he just wanted to sleep with her. It was actually fun to watch these two even though I had my reservations about it.

Brooke/Lucas: I felt so bad for Lucas when he found out that Brooke didn't draft him. He looked so hurt and when he found out Rachel did his words "Well, at least someone wanted me just really showed how much it did. Brooke really wanted to avoid telling him, but was forced to when Tim brought up a date night. But it was good to see them admit that want to be with each other to their respective dates. And Luke was ready to face Lucas, but he was shown a huge betrayal and heartbreak when he caught Brooke in bed with Chris. He face just looked so hurt. And Chris' smirked just made me want to hurt him.Maybe Nathan and Lucas can put aside their differences and bond again by kicking Chris' ass. Now that would definitely be an awesome episode. Who knows why Brooke would do that considering she told Chris Lucas was 'The One'. Maybe it could have been the alcohol, but all I know is that Brooke is gonna have trouble explaining this one. Can't wait to see Nathan and Haley's face when they find out. Looking forward to find out Brooke excuse.

Lucas/Rachel: Again Rachel didn't really bother me this episode. Granted she did seem kind of conniving agreeing to Tim's suggestion right away, then taking Luke by Brooke's and watching, along with him, her leave with Chris. Oh yeah then, being topless in front of him. But I think she does actually have an interest in him. I could be wrong, but that's how I see it. She did actually take the time to listen him and try to understand why he felt Brooke was "The One" for him without any judgement. yeah she did keep reminding him that she was on a date with Chris, but I think that was part of her trying to understand. Who knows if in the end she finally really got and will let him be. But with the new development between Brooke and Chris, who knows? We'll just have to wait and see.

Peyton/Mouth: This was just a really sweet date. Peyton got to meet Mouth's grandpa Mel, who he visits every week. After finding out he was a reace car driver she gets the great idea of springing him from the home he's in. Mouth is hesitant, but finally gives in. That have a great time at a little go cart race track. Seeing Mouth's grandpa so happy was just so great to see. Especially when Peyton finds out from Mouth that Mel suffers from Alzheimers and that he has no memory of the big stuff in his life. It just made me want to cry. The interaction between Mouth and Mel are just so sweet and sad, considering Mel thinks that Mouth is actually his son Joe, Mouth's father. Mouth really opened Peyton's eyes in relation to her wanting to get to know her mother. Peyton and Mouth have a good friendship forming and I hope it continues to do so.

Bevin/Skills: I really like these two together. After Bevin's Stalking fom last week we finally see these two on a date. They hang out at Bevin's house where she has them watch the greatest romantic movie ever The Notebook. Of course being a guy Skills isn't so into it, but after Bevin gives him some incentive he finally starts to watch it. In the end he really gets into the movie and is overtaken by the emotion. It was just funny to watch how interested he got into the movie that he would actually not let Bevin distract him until the movie was over. Skills is just so hilarious. I really want to see more of these two together. Hope it happens.

Deb/Karen: These two are just funny together. They conspire to mess up Dan's billboard. Karen hesitates at first, but then goes along with it. They have fun and it goes well until Karen is surprised by a bird and accidentally knocks down the ladder leaving them stuck. They're unsure of what to do since they have no other way down. They sit and have a heart to heart and then Deb is struck with an idea to get the latter. It involves removing their clothes. In the end they succeed and Karen feels some guilt and wants to peel off what they did. What was revealed under what they did was definitely better than what they had done in the first place so they still managed to get their revenge. I love how their friendship has evolved. It was also great to actually see them having some fun together because it was really lacking. I love how they are their for each other. Especially for their sons and going against Dan.

Special Mentions: I can't post this review without mentioning how hilarious the opening sequence was with the dreams. Most especially the one with Lucas and Chris in bed together. I couldn't stop laughing. Loved how it was revealed that Nate was having the dream of Haley and Brooke almost making out. Bonus that when he woke up from the dream he was shirtless. Yummy. What a bonus. Awww too bad we didn't get to see Dan int his eppy. But he wasn't missed that much. And finally glad to see Fergie and Junk at the end making fun of Skills, who totally got "Notebooked" by Bevin.

Until next time. Peace, Love, and Hugs.

A Related Thanksgiving!

The Sorelli sisters celebrate Thanksgiving! At first Renee their father's fiance wanted to do it, but since they hold it so close to their hearts because it was the last holiday they spent together before their mother got sick they didn't think it would be right without their mother's recipes. So they take on the task of preparing it themselves. Along the way they hit a few snags which bring up many funny moments.

For everything they try to recreate the sisters are brought back memories of their final Thanksgiving with their mother. Some are good, some are bad depending on which sister. During one moment when the sisters are reminiscing Renee inadvertently lets one of their mother's recipe cards catch fire. This causes the girls to snap. Especially Ginnie who yelled at her, which made Renee leave looking hurt. As a result she suffers an asthma attack that lands her in the hospital.

After rushing towards the Hospital Rose recalls a memory herself which reveals to the sisters that their mother was in fact sick before Thanksgiving. A fact that none of the sisters knew before. It was a heartbreaking moment for all the sisters. It even brought tears to my eyes. It was such a heartfelt episode. It just really drew me in with the good combination of sadness and laughter. It was definitely worth watching. There were just so many moments where I didn't know when I would be crying or laughing. I would put this as one of my fave eps.

Until next time. Peace, Love, and Hugs.

One Tree Hill Episode 3.06 Review!

3.06 Locked Hearts And Hand Grenades

Well, we finally get to see something that is the equivalent of the Boy Toy Auction from the cheerleaders. Although I didn't exactly expect it to go the way it went it is still interesting to see come about.

Whitey/Team:  First I have to mention how hilarious it was to see Good old Coach Whitey is not very happy with his team. His unhappiness is a result of the huge brawl that broke out at Midnight Madness. Whitey definitely pushes his team to the limit. Especially Lucas since he has slowed down a bit. Mostly due to his medication for his heart condition which is supposed to inhibit his performance. But Whitey isn't holding any sympathy for anyone. It's fun seeing Whitey being a hardass.

Nathan/Haley: Finally we see these two have some sort of friendly conversation where they share some laughing and it doesn't seem like any of them is uncomfortable. It was kinda funny to Haley pretend to bump into Nathan because she is nervous to just approach him. Nathan of course new it was a staged approach. I just liked that they were able to have a casual conversation and seem comfortable with each other despite everything that is going on between them. It just goes to show that they are taking a step in the right direction. We didn't get too much Naley interaction but the little we did get this week was somewhat satisfying.

Haley/Lucas: Once again we get to see these two show how close they are. Haley telling Lucas that she did some research about why he isn't performing up to standard just showed how much Haley cares about her best friend. Not only that but seeing her confront about him needing to tell Whitey  really showed that Haley is only looking out for Luke's best interests and she doesn't want anything to happen to him.Luke's excuse however as to why he doesn't want to tell Whitey is very lame. I mean come on he's willing to risk his life so the guys on the team won't stop being his friends. Seriously, if they were real friends then they wouldn't abandon you because you aren't on the team. What happened to the Lucas who thought the only friends he needed were Haley, Mouth, Skills, Fergie, and Junk? Guess popularity got to his head.

Lucas/Brooke: Brooke finally realizes that maybe she was a little too hard on Lucas and probably expects too much from him. Peyton finally convinces her that maybe she needs to apologize and let him know that she does have feelings for him. Luke tells Brooke that if she wants him to be the guy that fights for her she needs to him be that guy. Although I know that Brooke is still afraid to give her heart to Lucas again she needs to stop playing games or instead of being with him again she's gonna lose him for good. I just want to see a happy ending for these two.

Rachel: I honestly like this new character. Granted I hate the way she is too Brooke, but I do like how besides that quarrel she does seem to be a nice person. I mean the only person she's really mean to is Brooke. I bet if they didn't have this rivalry they could probably be friends. She tries to get close to Peyton by offering her a bootleg CD of NOFX and even though Peyton was pretty resistant at first, Rachel made a good point saying that even if she and Brooke are at odds doesn't mean Peyton can't be friends with her. I guess Peyton realized that in the end since she grabbed the CD. Even though I don't like her getting in between Brucas I have to say she does Bring out that fire in Brooke that we missed. It's so much fun watching brooke Rant on and on about her. Can't wait to see more.

Peyton/Haley: Once again we have Peyton being hostile towards Haley. I really hate that she is treating Hales this way. I hope that soon this will end. First moment was when Haley mentioned she was working with Chris again. Peyton threw back at her sarcastically that was a great since he was the one to break up her marriage. Hello! It wasn't Haley's idea. Nathan was the one that told her to. But of course Peyt tends to run her mouth before knowing the whole story. Normally I really like Peyton but this season it's a little hard to be sympathetic towards her with her attitude. Especially going in Haley's face and saying she was the one who was going to draft Nathan was beyond rude. I don't get why she feels the need to be hurtful to her. I did like that at the draft Haley finally confronts Peyton. And Peyton did kinda redeem herself when she didn't pick Nate after all. But backtracked once again when she told Haley "It's about time you fight for your husband." First of all Haley's been fighting for Nathan since she came back. And second it really isn't Peyton's business whether she is or isn't. Sometimes it makes you think that Haley left Peyton instead of Nathan. I mean Nathan is the one that Haley left behind and yet he treats her better than Peyton does. If she was really Nate's friend she'd know all the facts before snapping at Haley. Hopefully the writers will redeem Peyton soon and drop her attitude.

Nathan/Peyton: Can I just say how sweet it was of Nathan to tell Peyton that he heard her podcast and that he was sorry about her mom situation. That and when he told her she wasn't alone. That just shows what a good and supportive friend he is. They talk about how he kinda hopes to not be drafted but Peyton let's him know that it's most likely going to happen since Haley's involved, but she offers to draft him if he doesn't want that to happen. If Peyton wasn't so vindictive towards Haley I would find that offer sweet. I wonder what Nathan would say if he knew how Peyton was treating Haley. I doubt he would be fine with. I do like the fact that these two are becoming good friends, but obviously not that close since Peyton doesn't know the whole situation concerning him and Haley. Seems that Nathan hasn't given Peyton all the facts about what's happening between him and Haley, not that he has to. Word of advice Peyton if you want to be a supportive friend and go off on the person who hurt them, make sure you have all the facts because otherwise it just make you seem foolish and out of the loop.

Dan/Karen/Deb: Okay, once again we are treated to Dan and Deb's foolish childish games. Dan peeing in the pool before Deb's swim was just gross. I did like her retaliation with the laxatives. Especially when he started to feel the effects when he tried to intimidate Karen in her cafe. The look on his face and then when he asked if she had a bathroom was just funny.  I do love how no matter what Karen is not taking any of Dan's crap. No pun intended. She isn't afraid of Dan and she lets him know that. She doesn't want to stoop to Dan's level and believes that her reputation as a hardworking, successful, single mother will win the voters over. Dan of course stoops down to a smear campaign which totally catches Karen off guard. It promptly forces her to declare war. And with Deb on her side she'll prove to be a formidable opponent to Dan.

The Ravens Cheerleaders: Catfight! Catfight! Another brawl breaks out between two cheerleaders, Bevin & Ashley, over what else, a guy. Whitey breaks up the fight and informs Brooke that another fight and there will be no more cheerleading. This causes Brooke to take action and formulate a plan that will keep the peace between the squad. Her plan? A Fantasy Boy Draft. Inspired by Lucas' fantasy basketball draft Brooke concocts this draft where each cheerleader chooses a fantasy boy and that is the guy they will stick with until the end of the season. If any cheerleader breaks the draft rules they are kicked off the squad. At first it's a great way for Brooke to snag Lucas and keep Rachel away from him, but it backfires when she decides she wants to teach Rachel a lesson by snagging her pick, which was Chris, and securing Lucas to Haley since Peyton was supposedly getting Nathan. But it all backfired when Peyton picked Mouth instead leaving Nathan to Haley, Brooke already chose Chris leaving Lucas open for Rachel. Personally Brooke should've just stayed picking Lucas. I mean she wanted to keep him away from her in the first place. She should've left Chris for Rachel. It was really sad to watch Brooke have to type Lucas' for Rachel.

Special Mentions: Bevin's fantasy of Skills and the whole butt grabbing scenario was just a great scene to watch. It was definitely hilarious. First, it was just great to see Skills again. Secondly I wonder how long Bevin has supposedly had a crush on him. It just seemed to come out of nowhere. Love that it happened though.  Also It was sweet to see Mouth hoping to be one of the draftees. I felt bad for him when he was getting rejected by the squad. But it was funny how he was still campaigning himself. And it was great to see how happy and proud he was when Peyton chose him because he was the first draft pick. It was a great moment for him.

Until next time. Peace, Love, and Hugs.

The Hot New Ashlee Simpson CD!!

Well, I actually got the cd the first day and let me say that it is good. At first I only really liked about three songs, but then I actually took the time to actually listen to the songs and the lyrics and the whole album turned out to be excellent. I must say that my prediction from my last review about her turned out to be right because I think Ashlee is definately on the right track.

The standout tracks on the album for me are: Boyfriend, Beautifully Broken, Catch Me When I Fall, and I Am Me, Which is the title of her disc. Don't get me wrong all the songs are good, but those are my faves for one reason or other. In the past few days though I mostly just have been listening to I Am Me. The song talks about how you can only be yourself and not change for anyone. It not only has awesome lyrics, but you can really rock out to this song.

Her ballads are also really beautiful. Beautifully Broken is a hauntingly gorgeous ballad about feeling so much emotion whether good or bad for someone that you get to the point that you don't care if everyone can see. Catch Me When I Fall is another great ballad where she talks about feeling that there is no one there for her and she wonders who's gonna be the one to catch her.

The New Album

All of the songs on this new album are relatable one way or another. Ashlee really has a talent for writing good quality songs that make you want to dance or even cry. Well, that's how it is for me at least. If you get a chance, check it out. It is definitely worth a listen.

Until next time. Peace, Love, and Hugs.

One Tree Hill Episode 3.05 Review!

3.05 A Multitude Of Casualties

Well, I kinda of liked this episode just for the hilarious fights. There was a loy in this episode that just made no sense to me but I was still able to enjoy it.

Nathan/Haley: Nathan's intentions are really starting to confuse me. I know he still loves her, that is obvious, but I just don't understand what his plan with Chris. Poor Haley keeps trying to put in an effort to talk to Nate, but he just brushes her off. Haley is trying everything she can to earn Nathan's trust and show him that she's back for good and that she wants to work on being together again. But of course Nathan is still keeping his distance. Although he is, he still wants Haley to do what she loves. So he is working with Chris Keller to make it happen. Haley totally tells Chris off when he approaches her to work together again, which she so needed to do, and refused. Even though that is something Nathan should be happy with, he goes and tells Haley that it's her chance to prove to him that she doesn't have feelings for Chris and earn his trust back. Haley in the end does give in and accepts Chris' offer, unaware that Nathan is behind the whole thing.

Nathan/Whitey: Well, Nathan is officially granted the title of Captain for the Tree Hill Ravens basketball team. Funny how I thought he always was. But I guess I was wrong. Whitey even made a comment about how Nathan was unofficially the captain already, so I guess I wasn't completely wrong. I saw this scene as a foreshadow of what would happen during Midnight Madness since Whitey was emphasizing how it was Nathan's job to promote team unity. Obviously Whitey doesn't know that Nathan & Lucas are once again at odds. Well, in the end he learns the hard way.

Brooke/Rachel:Well, last week we had the pleasure of meeting Rachel as Pam Anderson at the Masquerade party. This week we see her at the cheerleader tryouts. Brooke of course already doesn't like her because of her dancing with Lucas at the party. Can I say that her dancing to David Banner's Play was probably not the best song to tryout with. Anyway Brooke doesn't want her on the squad, but Rachel was obviously the best. Rachel has her own agenda and does her best to manipulate the squad to be on her side much to Brooke's chagrin. The rivalry between them is pretty interesting to watch. What makes it even more interesting  is the rivalry about Lucas. Brooke inadvertently forces Brooke to ask Rachel out and Lucas is using her to make Brooke jealous. It works but just makes Brooke angrier. Rachel of course just wants to push Brooke's buttons. She succeeds when she tries to upstage Brooke at Midnight Madness. It all comes to a head when Rachel Takes it too far and Brooke hits her. They get into an all out brawl in the middle of the gym. It was really great to see. The best part though was in the end when Booke punched her. No one messes with Brooke.

Brooke/Haley: I just love watching scenes between these two. This time Brooke asks Haley to join the cheerleading squad. Haley of course refuses, since it's really not her thing, but Brooke is relentless. Brooke mostly wants to make sure that Rachel is not needed. But to me I also think that Brooke just wants to get closer to Haley and include her. It was funny how Brooke tried the "Nathan will be shirtless and all the girls notice." tactic with Haley to convince her to join. But Haley thinks Nathan will see it as a pathetic attempt to get closer to him. In the end Haley does end up joining the Ravens cheerleading squad. Peyton was a little rude about it with her "Nice outfit" comment but at least she wasn't as hostile and mean as before. I'm glad to see Haley branch out and try something new. And it doesn't necessarily have to be about Nathan.

Brooke/Lucas: Our Luke is a little skewed on the rules of the non-exclusive relationship that Brooke set up and she lets him know that. She tells him that he has to play fair and start seeing other people too. She inadvertently pushes him towards Rachel and later regrets doing it. Lucas uses Rachel as a means to make Brooke so jealous that she'll want to be exclusive with him. In the end Brooke starts to see them together more than she wants ands breaks down to Lucas that what she wanted him to really do was fight for her and show her the guy that said at the beach party that he was the one for her by showing her that he'd rather be alone if he couldn't be with her.. What I think these two need to do is stop playing these mind games and just admit their feelings and get together already.

Lucas/Rachel: Each one has their own agenda when it comes to Brooke. Lucas wants to make her jealous and Rachel just wants to show her up and assimilate herself into Brooke's position. Rachel knows what Lucas' real intentions are with her and she has know problems doing it. She'll participate in anything to get a rise out of Brooke. But she also seems to have a real interest in Luke too. I may be wrong about that, but that's how I see it for now. I can't wait to learn more about Rachel in future episodes.

Dan/Deb: These two just get more comical each week. Deb is caught between a rock and a hard place since Dan won't give her the divorce until he wants, but it isn't stopping her from sabotaging him in his race for mayor. That was hilarious how she walked in during his strategy meeting in lingerie and a glass of alcohol. She was just so funny. And Dan's reaction was just so priceless. Of course Dan had to get her back. He wouldn't be Dan if he didn't. Unfortunately he went too far by sodomizing a dog with her toothbrush. That was just disgusting. And most importantly childish. Deb at least does things that an adult would do, but dan is just doing things that kids would. I mean, come on, he's Dan Scott. Surely he can do something better than that. Hope to see it continue to escalate.

Peyton/Ellie: For the past few weeks we've seen Peyton struggle with the urge to want to get to know her mother. They finally do get to spend some bonding time and it seems that Peyton is really starting to enjoy getting to know Ellie and kind of start to connect with her. They share a lot of things in common which really intrigues Peyton, but then Peyton finds an article Ellie wrote and a drawing she did and Peyton feels betrayed once again by Ellie. Ellie tries to explain and tells Peyt to read the article. She does and gets a whole new perspective. She regrets pushing Ellie away in the end. It was sad seeing Ellie in the Hospital MRI machine while listening to Peyton's Podcast. I hope to see these two find peace and get along.

Nathan/Lucas: This was the moment that people, including myself, were waiting for. Lucas being the good friend that he is once again tried to talk to Nathan about what he is doing to Haley. Nathan like always doesn't want to talk about it. But Lucas keeps pushing until he says the one thing that pushes Nathan over the edge. That thing being that Nathan is just like Dan. When he said that all I thought was "Oh no he didn't say what I think he said." It was the first time that anyone ever said that to Nathan's face and I don't know why but I think Lucas being the one to say it was pretty fitting. It is definitely the ultimate insult to Nate and Luke crossed a major line when he said that. They fight in front of everyone in the pep rally and it lands them in Whitey's office. That's a big UH OH. Whitey is upset and embarrassed by the two and in an attempt to force them to work together again he makes Lucas co-captain. Who knows whether this will make it better or worse.

Midnight Madness: This was definitely madness as Mouth had said it. One of the most interesting was Karen announcing that she was going to run against Dan in the race for Mayor. I'm so happy that Karen is going to do this. She is definitely the best person to oppose him. I certainly hope Karen succeeds and puts Dan in his place once and for all. And I can't go without mentioning the fights. That was by far the best part. Lucas and Nathan Fighting sparked a big brawl with the Basketball team and the fight between Brooke and Rachel sparked a brawl between the cheerleaders. It was so funny to see. One thing though. Why exactly was Peyton fighting the mascot? That had to be the funniest moment. Everytime I think about it just makes me laugh. I'm laughing right now. LOL.

Special mentions: I'm glad to see that Mouth has an official post as sports announcer for the Ravens. But I'm not so sure about that Gigi girl. She really didn't contribute much, but unfortunately she was the only one to come to Mouth's auditions. They really should bring that one guy, Jimmy Edwards, back who was Mouth's sports announcing partner from the first season. I wonder what happened to him.

Well, Peace, Love, and Hugs. Until next time.
